Description
OHIO CLASSICAL FIGURED TIGER MAPLE AND CHERRY CHEST OF DRAWERS, one-board top over four scratch-beaded drawers, top example with slight cantilever, paneled ends, applied beehive-style half columns, bold cut-out skirt, tall turned legs formed from the stiles, likely original turned tiger maple knobs. Poplar secondary wood. Fine old surface with rich color. Circa 1835. 48 3/4" HOA, 42" W, 20 1/2" D.
Excellent overall condition with minor scattered wear.
