Comprises: 1.) Button and white silk ribbons badge. Comprises a half gold and half green button imprinted "H / G" with double ribbons, one imprinted in black ink "Hoover," the other imprinted in green ink "Green." Issued to promote the Republican candidates for the 1928 Presidential campaign and the Michigan Gubernatorial race with Fred W. Green. 2.) White plastic with red and blue imprint "Hoover" bookmark. 3.) Herbert Hoover duo-tone campaign portrait poster on newsprint. Boldly headed at top margin "Keep Him On The Job" and imprinted in bottom margin "Herbert Hoover / Republican Candidate for President." Bears photographer's imprint in-the-negative "Bachrach." 4.) Printed 4to, 1 page, anti-Hoover handbill. Relates " A Call To Arms: Fight the Hoover Depression With Ballots (Not Bullets)...Don't Vote a Straight Ticket / Veto 'Tear Gas' Hoover / No matter how bad ROOSEVELT may be, ROOSEVELT can never be as bad as HOOVER...VETERANS UNITE! - SPREAD THE TRUTH! (Don't Fall for False Propaganda) / Remember - Hoover is Your Worst Enemy..." 5.) Brass medalet holed at top for suspension. Obverse features G.O.P. elephant with legend "Stick to Hoover / None Could Have Done Better." Reverse stamped "Contributor / Maine Republican Campaign / 1932." 6.) Sheet music "The Sidewalks of New York...Hon. 'Al' Smith's Official Campaign Song," by Lawlor and Blake, pub. Paul-Pioneer Music Co., New York, N.Y., no date.
