Description
ALABAMA STONEWARE VESSELS, LOT OF TWO, alkaline-glazed, approximately one-gallon capacity, comprising a semi-ovoid jar with rounded rim and vertical strap handles, and an ovoid form pitcher with incised shoulder and neck rings, rounded rim, and small strap handle. Probably Cleburne or Randolph Co. Late 19th century. 9 1/4" and 9 1/2" H.
Jar undamaged, pitcher with 1/4" x 1 1/2" loss to rim and shallow chip to spout.
