The condition is consistent with age. The pair could benefit from a deep cleaning. The male piece shows no signs of cracking. There is a flea bite sized chip to the left collar. The paint has faded in some areas along the edges of the piece. Inside the bowl, there is an approximately ½ inch circular brown stain. The female piece shows surface dirt, and a 1 ¼ inch part of porcelain missing from the brim of the hat. There is also chipping to the left hand fingers. Piece shows signs of paint fading.
