Large Russian 84-Silver and Shaded Cloisonne Enamel and Jeweled Kovsh, Moscow, 1896-1908, Cyrillic maker's mark EPR, assayer Ivan Lebedkin, with scrolled handle and full body swan figure at the prow, sides and handle are covered with ornate and flowing enamel decoration depicting birds, flowers and foliage, inset with multi-colored cabochon jewels, a masterfully made piece by a silversmith with unrecorded mark, fine works from this maker are included in museum and private collections, 6 5/8" high, 10 1/2" x 5 3/4", 24.65 ozt tw. Small area of enamel loss between bird's feet.
