Description
Doors Morrison Hotel In-House Gold Record Sales Award (Elektra EKS-75007, 1970). Released in February of 1970, Morrison Hotel was the Doors' fifth studio album and one of their most highly acclaimed. Seen as somewhat of a comeback following the disappointing performance of their previous album The Soft Parade, Morrison Hotel contains the track "Roadhouse Blues", one of The Doors' most well known songs and a perpetual radio classic even today. This in-house sales award from Elektra records includes a plaque beneath the gold disc that reads "To Stan Marshall / Many Thanks For Helping Us / Achieve A Million Seller / Elektra Records". Framed in glossy black to an overall 16" x 16" and in Fine condition, with some mild fading to paper album label, minor clouding to glass and slight frame wear.
