Contents with age-toning, instances of typical sorts of soiling/stains and signs of handling/use, several leaves with chipped and frayed edges, some tissue repairs to tears, some leaves cropped shaving headlines or marginal foot-notes, approx. a dozen chips removing several words and repaired with tissue, one leaf detached with large chip and repair (removing several verses), front endpaper with ownership inscriptions dated 1858 and 1903. A well-used example, as seems rather typical of these.
