A rather scarce map of the plans for the Falls of the Ohio at Louisville / Jeffersonville. This is a highly detailed map of the plans for the canal, as well as the respective cities. Jarred Brooks, a Louisville Engineer, is typically credited for the details in the map and inset for the then current and proposed configuration of the Ohio River, its rapids and Canal. Uncolored.

Condition
Good. Crisp, clear strike. Several damp stains in margins and into upper portion of image. The paper is uneven well away from image in the right margin and some marginal trimming in lower left. Virtually no sign of toning. Uncolored.
