Welsh or possibly French, 18th century, scalloped and paneled back with elaborate floral and geometric relief carving, the bench form front with lift top and open interior flanked by quarter round umbrella stands, 77 x 76 x 19 in.

one quarter round molding off, but present (breaks and losses to baluster turnings), restorations to lid/seat, some later bracing at back, side of upper moldings are replaced, scattered minor pest damage with some associated losses, crack at one hinge, other possible restorations
