Description
George III mahogany Hepplewhite bow front silver server, Circa 1790, London, having a highly figured San Domingan solid top, cross banded frieze, three locking drawers with oval brass replaced hardware, square tapereing legs, terminating in molded spade feet. Made with white oak secondary wood, pine backboard with appropriate mortise joint construction, H: 36 1/4", L: 50 1/4" x W:25 1/2", case width: 48". Condition: various minor losses: chip to veneer on right top edge approcimately 1.5" long, minor stringing missing, chafing and scuffs from vacuum cleaners at bottom of feet
