Description

French inspired three panel screen made entirely of mahogany, Circa 1910, having Art Nouveau and Beaux Arts influence, having three glass panels in the upper section and four scenic painted silk panels in the lower section, maximum height of center section: 63", overall maximum width: 57", condition: all carvings appear to be intact, finish is very good, silk panels show deterioration. The screen folds in both directions and it folds into a small compact size, structurally sound and in very good order. Provenance: from the Estate of noted collector and show promoter Sonia Paine of Brookline, MA.
