Size:4.5.This marquise gauges like a 2 carat, if you measure the top it has the width and length of a 2 carat, but it was cut thin, with less depth so it only weighs 1.36 carats.You get the bang and the bling of a 2 carat, but you only have to pay for a 1.36 carat.But it is an E color, SI1, so it has the clarity and color to please the critics.A beautiful stone.The mounting is marked:"10% Irid Plat" and "Handmade", meaning it is 90% platinum and 10% iridium.There are two tapered baguette diamonds, weighing approximately .15cts each.One on either side of the main stone.Excellent polish and synmmetry on all 3 stones.Circa 1965.
