Description
Three Pieces of Utilitarian Pottery, American and German, fourth quarter 19th century, a molded redware pitcher with relief star-decorated spout and copper-and-manganese-decorated surface, probably Pennsylvania; a molded stoneware pitcher with George Washington and Abraham Lincoln motifs, impressed "Trinke Langsam. / Aber viel!", attributed to the Whites Pottery, Utica, NY; and an open-handled stoneware jar with cobalt-floral decoration, German origin. Redware pitcher with cracks to underside, extending onto base, surface wear, flakes to interior base, and a restored spout. Whites Utica stoneware pitcher missing wire bail handle, in otherwise excellent condition. German stoneware jar with some light exfoliation. H (of tallest) 11".
