Description

Cincinnati Art Pottery ewer done in "Portland Blue" glaze circa 1884. Impressed "Kezonta 147" on the underside. Height 11 3/4 inches. Excellent condition. Rich glaze. Pictured in the November-December 2003 issue of the Journal of the American Art Pottery Association on page 22 in an article by Bob and Mary Ellen Seery entitled "Formed In Clay: A History of Cincinnati Seen Through its Potteries, 1870s to 1960s."
