Sir William Russel Flint (1880-1969) Illustrator of works for Chaucer and Homer as well as a freelance artist was famous for his paintings of female nudes. President of The Royal Society of Painters in Watercolor 1936. This signed artist's proof of crayon drawing titled BRUNETTE was originally galleried by Button Gallery Chicago. His original chalks on paper auction for over $10,000. This piece measures 16" by 21" with a work window of 8" by 10" with signature on bottom right corner. Gallery label on verso.
