The top one w/3 fingers and assembled with wooden pegs. Decoration appears to be original w/no evidence of another color. The inside is painted red, 7.5 in. lg., 2.75 in. wd. The bottom box was originally painted black, 6.75 in. lg., 4.5 in. wd. There is no damage to either of the boxes
