Extremely Rare Carver Childs Maple Rocking Chair Missing the Cloth Seat
22 inches ht., 8 inches seat ht.. Dirty from attic. Nail holes show where the seat was nailed to stretchers. The earliest chairs were made w/half inch turnings which easily broke when turning which raised cost over an adult chair. Posts were too small to insert a rocker so were inserted into the rocker.
