Howard William Kottler
American (1930-1989)
Silver Clad Glass vase.
Howard Kottler received a Tiffany Grant to study art glass and was influenced by Louis Comfort Tiffany's silver clad glass pieces and played with this idea in his work in the late 1960's, early in the studio glass movement. This work comes to us from the collection of Northwest sculptor John Geise. This was given to Mr. Geise by Howard Kottler.
