This lot consists of TWO pieces of political memorabilia. First is an Original Campaign Poster 'John F. Kennedy For President - Vote Democratic'. Original circa 1959 poster. This piece has two pen impressions -- the top impression appears to be a signature but it is indecipherable. The second, (bottom signature) reads 'John Kennedy'. Both impressions are hand signed with pen and are located center right underneath John Kennedy's ear. The poster shows its age well. There's toning and foxing, particulary around the edges. Creasing around the corners and edges. Also a crease in the middle that runs horizontally from edge to edge, through Kennedy's eyes. Some 'splatter' stains are visible around Kennedy's lapel as well as some residue that is faintly visible around Kennedy's neck (residue spot is approx. .75' x 3'). The RFK pass is also taped to the top left side of the poster with clear moving tape. Overall the poster shows very well for it's age.

The second piece of political memorabilia is a 'Teletrade' printed pass for Robert F. Kennedy's campaign for President in Tippecanoe County, May 7 of 1968. The RFK pass in contained within a ridge plastic protective case. The case has an official 'seal' which is unbroken. The protective case appears to be of the same period as the pass. The pass does not appear to have been removed from the case. The pass displays some toning, but it's unclear if the toning is to the plastic protective case or the actual pass. We did not remove the pass from the case.

Finger Lakes Auction has been commissioned to liquidate a collection of Fine Art from a Prominent European Collector and Dealer. This is one of the pieces from that collection. This item is being sold “as isâ€. Unless otherwise noted authenticity has not been firmly established.
