Description
A set of twenty four early to mid-Victorian silver ice cream spoons, each of Elizabethan style pattern with crested heart cartouche to the reverse of the terminal. Hallmarked Chawner & Co (George William Adams), London 1865. Gross weight 17.8 ozt (554.5 grams).
Condition
In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some of the tips of the spoons are slightly worn or bent. Three have stickers to the bowl. Hallmarks clear and legible, one spoon does not have a maker's mark.
