STRAUS "PRISMATIC" BRILLIANT CUT GLASS BRANDY JUG, cylinder form, panels with cut notches between bands of strawberry diamonds, highlighted with fans, panel-cut neck with notched edges, tri-fold mouth engraved with a numeral "5" to the exterior, applied handle diamond-notched stepping, sunburst base; ball-form facet-cut stopper with matching engraved numeral. L. Straus & Sons. Circa 1889-1894. 10 3/8" H to top of stopper, 8 1/4" H to top of mouth, 3 1/4" D base.
Very good condition, several scattered minute to minor flakes/roughness, stopper with one minute flake.
