FRENCH BOTANICAL PRINTS, LOT OF FIVE, colored stipple engraving on paper (each), after Pancrace Bessa (French, 1772-1846) and Pierre-Joseph Redoute (French, 1759-1840), depicting fig, prune, and apricot varieties, two bearing period ink inscriptions identifying individual illustrations. Unframed. Circa 1820. Each 16 1/2" x 10".
Each in good overall condition with minor toning and foxing/discoloration. Fig examples with slightly heavier toning.
