Description
GERMAN JUNGHANS BRASS AND WOOD SHELF CLOCK, brass movement with Junghans trademark above "GERMANY", numbered "140", with five chimes, housed in a mahogany case with turned columns flanking the tombstone-arch beveled-glass door, brass face with floral and scrolling foliate decoration, applied brass dial under "CHIME/SILENT" and "SLOW/FAST" adjustment dials. Pendulum present. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 17 1/8" HOA, 12 3/8" x 7 3/4" OA.
Case excellent overall, with a minor split to door frame, face/dial with expected minor wear. Not currently in working condition.
