WATERBURY CAST-METAL FIGURAL CLOCK, brass movement marked "WATERBURY CLOCK CO." with coiled gong, housed in patinated metal case with beveled-glass door, a figure of an armored warrior drawing his sword adjacent, all set on black-enameled metal base with gilt-painted ormolu-style mountings, on scrolling floral and shell feet; porcelain dial with pressed-brass center. Pendulum present. Fourth quarter 19th century. 15 1/4" HOA, 14 7/8" x 6 5/8" OA.
Case excellent, no apparent losses, old solder repair to back panel hinge, some chipping to dial around rate adjustment hole, some flaking to enamel surface on base. Not currently in working condition.
