Marti "MEDAILLE D' ARGENT / 1889" mark, coil gong, housed in gold-painted metal case having beveled-glass door above central enamel-painted porcelain panel featuring cherubs, surmounted by an urn-form finial with enamel-painted porcelain body; porcelain dial with Arabic numerals, enamel-painted floral decoration; garnitures with matching pattern metal bodies, central enamel-painted porcelain panels, surmounted by porcelain urns having enamel-painted decoration featuring cherubs. Pendulum present, numbered "352" to match movement. Fourth quarter 19th century. Clock 14 3/4" HOA, 7 3/4" x 4 1/2" OA, garnitures 10 3/4" HOA.
Excellent condition overall, no apparent breaks or losses, movement and dial very slightly askew. Currently runs for a very short period.
