CASED SATIN GLASS HANGING FAIRY LAMP, shaded dark to light blue shade, fiery opalescent base with rib pattern, base embossed "S. CLARKES PATENT TRADEMARK FAIRY", supported by a brass embossed Clarkes holder, colorless ribbed pattern candle holder, original Clarkes candle with partial paper label. Fourth quarter 19th century. 13" H hanging, 4 1/2" H to top of shade, 4" D base.
(UPDATED 10/9/17) Excellent condition, shade undamaged and with normal roughness to the top, base with a shallow chip to the interior of rim and associated bruise, and some minor roughness to scallops, which does not affect the profile, hanger undamaged.
