Description
IMPORTANT DECORATED BURMESE ART GLASS FREE-FORM VASE, 16-rib body with a boldly tooled rim with spattered gilt decoration, two applied ornate floral ornaments to each side with the ornaments being accented with fine enamel-decoration, complex polychrome-enamel decoration throughout the body, decoration depicting herons flying around and being flanked by floral decoration, spattered gilt ground, factory-polished base and a polished pontil mark. Mt. Washington Glass Co. and others. Fourth quarter 19th century. 6 1/2" HOA, 4 1/2" x 6 1/4" rim, 6 6/7" DOA body.
