NASA training suit used by Charles Conrad (who walked on the moon during Apollo XII, the 2nd manned lunar mission). He began working for NASA in 1962. Other missions include Gemini 5, Gemini 11, and Skylab 2. Also known as “Pete Conrad.” Leather name patch bears the name “C. Conrad/ M.S.C. N.A.S.A.,” and the light blue training suit seems consistent with his stature (5 feet, 6 inches). Provenance: - gift to Jack Botzum (father of the consignor), at a NASA space launch in the 1960s.
