Description

Matched Pair of Gilt Bronze church altar low candlesticks, circa late 19th to early 20th century. They have a beautifully designed scrolled and pierced pattern, with ornate legs and fluted candle holder openings. Each candlestick measures approx. 4 3/4 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches tall, with a 1 1/3 inch diameter opening for candles. The candlesticks are heavy, each weighing almost a pound (14.8 ounces). Combined to ship: 2 Pds. They are in great condition, with no chips, dents, or repairs, and they have their original finish. From a Pennsylvania church. PROVENANCE: A Charleston SC Private Estate.
