Tankard is engraved Elias Nexson 1740, evidently as a birth present. Elias Nexson was a noted merchant and alderman in NYC. B 1740, D 1831. Also includes 3 tablespoons by J&L Cox 1844, an olive pattern teaspoon by James Mix Jr., 2 teaspoons by Alfred Lockwood N.Y., 2 teaspoons by H.
