"...accuratifsime delineatum opera et fumtibus Tobiae Conradi Lotteri, Geogr. et Chalcogr, Augustae Vindel," a hand colored engraving, of a map of greater Russia, including borders of modern day countries: Norway, Sweden, Finland, Uzbekistan, Japan, Korea, China, Tibet, etc., also including indigenous tent encampments in Mongolia, with a cartouche in the lower left corner attended by a classical Amazon warrior and two East Asian merchants, crowned by the double headed eagle of the Russian Empire, with watermark, and ink inscriptions and notations throughout the left half of the map, and the number eight in the top corners, and a ten in lower right corner. 20 1/2" x 24 1/2"

Some mild tone to the paper, some edge wear with mild tears and losses near the corners and creases, a large crease at center indicative of having been originally stored in a portfolio which has some tears near the edges, some pencil and ink notations throughout the left half, occasional smudges, and some flea sized spots that fluoresce under ultraviolet light, otherwise in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
