Description
A SPANISH COLONIAL SILVER TEAPOT WITH SILVER PLATED STAND, 19TH CENTURY, of squat baluster form with gadrooned, beaded, and reeded decoration to the body between bands of stylized foliate decoration, fish head spout, wrapped wicker "C" shape handle, raised on spreading foot, the lid with beaded and gadrooned decoration centering mermaid form finial, together with silver plated tripod form stand, teapot with unidentified marks, total approximate weight (teapot only): 11.03 troy ounces. Height: 8 1/4" Width: 7 1/8" Depth: 5"
Condition
In overall good condition, minor losses to wicker wrapping on teapot handle, minor surface scratching and rubbing commensurate with age and use, stand with minor losses to plating.
