Description
PRESSED ROMAN ROSETTE NAPPIE ON FOOT / COMPOTE, colorless, nappie with 48-scallop rim and eleven-petal daisy in bottom, raised on a very faintly ribbed stem and flared foot with heavy chevrons and prisms on top, waferless construction. Probably Midwestern. 1835-1850. 3 7/8" H, 6" D rim, 3 5/8" D foot.
Nappie rim with two tipped scallops and some light flaking/mold roughness, shallow chip to table ring and moderate chip to interior of foot.
