**First Time At Auction**
Pre-Columbian, Colima-Pihuamo, Tlatilco, Ecuadorian; Roman Empire, Holy Land; ca. 900 BCE to 1900 CE. A collection of eleven terracotta artifacts from various ancient cultures and an antique painted terracotta bowl. The artifacts range from early cultures such as the Pre-Columbian Colima-Pihuamo and Tlatilco heads, late Roman to early Byzantine Holy Land items such as a handled oil lamp and three small pottery dishes, and an Astartian votive plaque carved from stone. The bowl is likely Mexican in origin, and the style of the vessel indicates it is perhaps roughly 100 years old. Size of bowl: 7.25" W x 3.875" H (18.4 cm x 9.8 cm); Size of largest artifact: 2.875" W x 5.5" H (7.3 cm x 14 cm).
