**First Time At Auction**
Roman Empire, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. An ensemble of three Roman items. A disc-shaped votive mirror with finely-detailed undulating and pointillist designs encircling an open area where a lead and glass mirror would have been. Accompanying the mirror are a miniature beige-hued terracotta bowl with a flat base and shallow bowl cavity as well as a miniature bronze footed bowl with a wide rolled rim and green patina. Meant for votive offerings at a temple or shrine, these petite items had a significant meaning to the worshipper. Size of mirror: 2.25" W (5.7 cm); Size of beige bowl : 0.75" W x 0.375" H (1.9 cm x 1 cm); Size of bronze bowl: 1.05" W x 0.3" H (2.7 cm x 0.8 cm).

Condition
All items have age-commensurate surface wear. Mirror has slight bending and minor loss to rim and inner body, and is missing accompanying mirror. Small beige bowl is intact with mineral and earthen deposits. Bronze bowl has lovely green patina and earthen deposits throughout.
