DESCRIPTION: A mid 19th century, Christofle silverplate set. Embellished with an overall acanthus leaf and foliate motifs. Comprises of:
- 18 large soup spoons. L:8 3/8"
- 9 medium spoons. L:7 3/8"
- 13 teaspoons. L:5 3/8"
- 15 dinner forks. L:8.5"
- 10 salad forks. L: 7 3/8"
- 9 fish forks engraved along the blades with squash and winding vine designs. L:8.5"
- 2 sauce ladles with oval bowls. L:7.25"
- 1 soup ladle. L: 12.75"
- 1 meat serving fork. L:11 1/6"
- 1 pair of salad serving fork and spoon. L:11.5"
- 1 pair of sugar cube tongues. L:6.25"
Each are marked:"Christofle" along with a justice scale mark centered by an "84" indicating it to be mid 19th century. Pattern has yet to be identified. Each are also illegibly monogrammed.
