Description
Kim-Thanh (5) Vietnamese .9999 Pure Gold Bars (Refugee Gold Bars from 1970's) in Original Rice Paper Ultra Rare Find - This lot contains five (5) pure .9999 fine gold bars. The bars are marked "Kim Thanh". These bars were used by refugees from Vietnam that were escaping to Hong Kong, Cambodia and the US for safety during the fall of Saigon. These gold bars truly are a piece of history, and are museum quality. Also, one of the bars was cut "in error". This means one out of the five bars is extremely valuable, because it was never meant for circulation (as they mostly destroyed these and made a new correct one). These bars came from a royal family of Vietnam's personal California estate. No other information will be provided, as they still have family in Vietnam and wish to remain private. Each bar measures (approximately): 3.28" L x 1.26" W (73.5 Grams) is the total weight of all five bars. These truly do belong in a museum. You simply will not ever see these again. Please see a necklace made of 24K yellow gold with a Kim Than 24K gold bar below. These bars meant so much to the family, because it was a constant reminder of how important gold is and that it once saved their lives during the fall of Saigon and gave them freedom.
