Description
French, first half 19th century. A fine Louis XVI style giltwood carved console table having a serpentine shaped Breche d'Alep top above a frieze carved with leaf tips and hung with laurel swag garlands centered by a rosette medallion, raised on turned, tapered and fluted legs. Approximate height 34.87", width 54.75", depth 27.12".
Condition
Minor wear commensurate with age and use. Some shrinkage, with seam separation. Chips, nicks, dings, and losses to legs, with some cracking to wood from age. Nice patina. No other visible signs of damage or repair.
