Description
Inoue Ryosai (Japanese, late 19th/early 20th century), collection of two sumidagawa (sumida gawa) pottery items comprising of a handled mug or tankard decorated with applied monkeys on red ridged ground, blue and white glazed upper section; and a tapered table vase with seated elder and dog against tan ground. Each with applied shaped medallion with blue mark for Inoue Ryosai. Vase approximate height 5.75".Tankard height approximately 5".
