Rome, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 2nd century CE. In a word, BREATHTAKING, a hand-blown glass unguentarium of glacial blue hues, translucent in areas and presenting gorgeous silvery iridescence with notes of pink, purple, and green hues. The vessel presents a piriform body, long tubular neck, and folded rim - making for a lovely silhouette. Circular lucite mount. Size: 2.75" in diameter x 5.875" H (7 cm x 14.9 cm); 6.375" H (16.2 cm) on included custom stand.
