A beautiful vintage sterling necklace with an extraordinary spiderweb turquoise pendant. The asymmetrical turquoise has rich color with great spiderweb matrix. The stone is bezel set and hangs from a double strand of square foxtail chain. The pendant measures 1&3/8" by 1&1/8", the bail adds an additional .5" to the length. The square foxtail chains are 18&3/8" long, the two together are .25" wide by 1/8" thick. Very well made and in excellent condition, no damage or visible wear, secure tube ends hold both chains, it closes with a heavy lobster claw clasp. Marked 925 for sterling on the tube end, total weight is 42 grams. A lovely vintage sterling and turquoise pendant necklace c1970s.
