Chinese KangXi Famille noir with squared baluster body, flat shoulder gently everted the cylindrical straight neck toward flaring rim, raised upon a square and slightly concave flat base. The exterior decorated with famille verte design, with dominant green color and pale yellow painting, depicted spirit of a soldiers raise to heaven scene, all reserved in black glazed background. Unglazed base, with underglaze square on the receded center. The halo iridescence is visible when porcelain is held at certain angles to the light.
Mark on the receded central base, a six blue script -KaiShu- characters reign mark, KangXi Reign Period of Great Qing.
