Chinese puzzle jade rings are ornate decorative items that consist of three concentric wheels, each of which rotates freely, carved from the same piece of jade disc, pi. Elegantly displayed with a stand formed by prominent multi leveled gilt bronze pedestal, from which rise crescent post flanked on the center. The frame decorated in colorful enamel filing on gilt bronze cloisonne works with sacred uptala night lotus blooms motif beneath shanka seashell gilt bronze reliefs upon cresting wavy waters. The nephrite jade is pale-celadon in color. The carving is extremely well, smooth detail, reveal the three dimensional appetence.
