19/20th C. Buddha houses, constructed from highly valued Chinese Zitan wood, carved unto a flattened ruyi shaped Buddha temple house, with nine opening to the front in smaller double gourd pattern. The exterior deftly carved in relief with uptala, the mystique night lotus bloom, with its scrolling tendrils. Each opening covered in royal-yellow silk. Displayed upon a gallery fenced rectangular pedestal. The Zitan wood display smooth lustrous dense hardwood with dark purple-brown patina and feathery fine grain.

Over all in EXCELLENT condition. Some stress of wear. Natural wood imperfection, wood joint mark, minor scratches and dents. Normal consider ages and wears.
