Very rare Chinese celadon-ground iron-red phoenix medallion bowl, 6" dia. Body with deep rounded sides rising from a short tapering foot to an everted rim, decorated around the exterior with five large iron-red phoenix medallions and a single one to the interior, all reserved on a pale even celadon-green glaze thinning to white at the rim, seal mark of Daoguang in underglaze blue, and of the period.
