3 Pc. Gerardus Boyce Federal coin silver tea set consisting of a tea pot, creamer and sugar bowl with lid, all with the lobed bodies characteristic of New York silversmiths of the period and bands of die rolled shells, leaves and foliate details plus ornate floral and scroll chasing and repousse to the spout, handles and lids. Each piece stamped twice with the "G BOYCE" mark. Each piece engraved with a script "AW". Approx. 103.0 ozt. Gerardus Boyce (American/New York, 1795-1880), 1820 to 1825 on Grand Street, New York; 1825 to 1829 in partnership with Elisha Jones at 101 Spring Street, New York, after 1835 and until 1857 on his own at 110 Greene Street, New York. Teapot: 10.25"H x 13"W x 6"D, Circa - 1820.
