British, first half of 19th century. A four-piece sterling coffee and tea set by Edward, Edward Jr., John, & William Barnard of London, with a ribbed design and the coffeepot and teapot having pumpkin finials, including a coffeepot (ht. 9.5, wd. 9.5, dp. 6.5 in.), a teapot (ht. 6.25, wd. 11.5, dp. 8 in.), a handled sugar bowl (ht. 4, wd. 9, dp. 6 in.), and a creamer (ht. 4.25, wd. 6.5, dp. 4.5 in.), all marked with sterling hallmarks and for maker; total silver wt. 74.795ozt (2326.38g).Â
Condition
Creamer has two small dents on one side. Sugar bowl has two small dents (one on each side). Teapot has one small dent near the handle and a few tiny dents on body. Coffeepot has a tiny dent on one side. Surface wear consistent with age and use.
