Edward Gein (1906-1984) Murderer, grave robber. Gein was obsessively devoted to his mother, a religious fanatic. After her death, he began robbing graves and keeping body parts as trophies. He then turned to murder, killing at least two women in 1957. He inspired film characters Norman Bates (Psycho), Jame Gumb (The Silence of the Lambs) and Leatherface (Texas Chainsaw Massacre). The book, Edward Gein, by Judge Robert H Gollmer, Chas.Hallberg & Company, 1981, signed on the title page. No dust jacket, overall condition very good.
