Item Details

Description

A grouping of ephemera from the International Design Conference (IDC) to include two large posters for the 1962 IDC in Apsen, designed by Ralph Eckerstom and John Massey, published by Hillison and Etten Co.; a smaller 1962 EDC poster; and assorted programs and papers from the 1962 conference, the 1965 conference, the 1966 conference, and the 1967 conference. The annual International Design Conference was a meeting of many of the great designers, artists, architects, and business leaders of the time to discuss the synergy between design and business. It ran from 1951-2004. Larger posters: 64 in x 47-1/2 in. Provenance: From the collection of Paul Shaub, New Castle DE.

Condition

In overall very good condition. Some wear to covers on programs. Posters are in very good condition with minimal toning.
