Description

ENGLAND/INDIA, 19TH CENTURY An Anglo-Indian mother of pearl inlaid writing box. The front doors and hinged top open to reveal a compartmented and gilt stenciled leather bound interior with two drawers over a removable lap desk. The box was veneered with the finest of hardwoods.

Dimensions : 12" wide by 8 3/4" deep by 12 1/2" tall

Condition

Minor losses to wood veneer to left side. Minor losses to inlay around key holes. Overall good condition.
